How long have You been a web designer?
I began my web design career almost 7 years ago, and in that time I have worked with over 1,000 business owners. I have completed projects across the digital spectrum, from building a new website from scratch, re-designing old websites, migrating websites from other platforms over to the Wix website platform; to completing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) set up and monthly SEO maintenance, blog writing services, providing online training for Business Owners, professional business photography services, social media management and so much more!
After a few years I stopped offering some of these services, as I realised that most of my clients not only didn't have the budget (I choose to work with small to medium sized Business Owners), but they also wanted to understand more themselves about the online world and how to manage their business website. So, more online website maintenance training was booked and I created a new service monthly support plans, which were designed to help Business Owners who liked the idea of their website staying up to date at all times, whilst having someone to call about minor issues such as emails not working or if they had trouble making changes to a service on their website. It also meant that they could spread the cost of website maintenance and design, allowing new Business start ups to control cash flow easier.

To be a Wix website partner is an honour that I worked hard for and a programme I had to apply to be a part of.
After successfully passing the validation and application process, I then had to meet certain criteria to achieve my official 'legend' status - which I finally achieved a year later.
Being a partner means I still continue to have to meet certain criteria every single month. As a Wix web design partner I am held accountable for my professionalism and can lose my status at any time; which considering the benefits such as lead generation and top level tech support from the Wix team, it is certainly worth keeping!
As a Business Owner, you can trust that Wix prtners have the experinece and knowledge to complete certain tasks on your websites, whether that is building a new website from scratch or advising you on the best SEO methods. You can't pull one over on them - for instance; I am not a qualified coder, therefore I cannot add this to my Wix partner profile without completing certain coding 'tests', to prove that I can actually do it.

A least twice a year for the past 7 years, I have 'audited' the majority of the other website building platform alternatives, to see how they compare to Wix. I have a personal check list; ease of login, ease of finding and accessing your website editor, price of hosting plans, price of plug ins, ease of use for each plug in, design flexibility; amongst other things. The reason I want to know this is because I work mainly with Small Business Owners, who need to be able to perform certain actions themselves without being bamboozled.
